Indulge your adventurous side and explore the wildly beautiful landscapes of the Westfjords in a new and fun way on this bike tour from Isafjordur.
Westfjords Bike Tour
After meeting up at 10 am in Mávagarður, we'll board a bus and set off across the Westfjords, leaving Isafjordur behind and heading to the rugged plateau of Breiðadals and Botnsheiði.
Once at our destination, we'll grab our mountain bikes and begin our adventure. We'll start by descending the steep hill to the Súgandafjörður Fjord, before pedalling back up to the top, where we'll rest and have time to eat lunch. You'll be captivated by the incomparable views from this vantage point!
With renewed energy, we'll get back on our bikes and continue cycling towards the Syðrdalur valley. A more leisurely route will take us past a hydroelectric power station and alongside the shore of a lake.
Finally, we'll reach the old Óshlíð road, and from there we'll return to Isafjordur by bike. We'll arrive back at the original departure point at 4 pm.
