Reykjavik City Tour
On this Reykjavik city tour, you'll learn about the history and see all the most important corners of the Icelandic capital of today on board a comfortable minibus.
Reykjavik City Tour
Having picked you up at the meet point, we'll begin our route around Reykjavik which will teach you all about the history and present of the city, and lead you around its most interesting parts.
We'll see the Höfði house, where Ronald Reagan and Mijaíl Gorbachov met in 1968, and the Harpa: a building by the port with a glass front, home to various exhibitions, as well as the Reykjavik Opera.
Our tour then continues around the centre of the Icelandic capital, admiring its unusual streets, full of colourful houses. We'll drink in the Hallgrímskirkja church, one of the most striking buildings in the city, with a design mimicking the columns of rock which can be found throughout the island's volcanic lands.
From the Perlan crystal dome, you'll be able to get 360-degree views of the city: the perfect place to get a new perspective on the contrasts between the mountains and the sea. And leaving the viewpoint behind, we'll make our way southwards to see Bessastaðir the residence of the President of Iceland.
Meet Points
When making your reservation you'll see a list including the majority of the hotels in Reykjavik. Next to the name of your hotel, you will find the nearest meet point. As the majority of the streets in the centre are not accessible by bus, you will need to make your way to a nearby location, indicated as a "bus stop" and with a number.
For example, if you choose "20:30 - 1919 Hotel Radisson BLU (Please stand by for pick up at bus stop no 4 - Tryggvagata))" you should be ready at 8:30 pm at bus stop 4 (Tryggvagata). You'll find details about the location of the stop in the reservation confirmation.
