Whale Watching in Hauganes

After meeting up at Hauganes port, we'll climb aboard our whale watching boat and set sail on our cruise around northern Iceland in search of the local wildlife.

We'll spend two and a half hours sailing in the bay of Eyjafjörður Fjord, observing how whales swim in their natural habitat on the northern coast of Iceland. Our English-speaking guide, an expert in Icelandic wildlife, will reveal curious facts about how these enormous creatures live. The giant marine mammals will leave you speechless! What's more, if the weather's good, you'll have the opportunity to try and catch some of the small fish that swim near the whales.

Our boat trip on Eyjafjörður Fjord will also allow us to spot other animals like dolphins and porpoises. Will you be able to tell the difference between them? Discover how to identify them on the day of the tour! While we enjoy this incredible experience, we'll keep warm with a cup of coffee and some Icelandic sweets. The boat also has a free WiFi service on board, ideal for sending photos of the whales to your family and friends!

At the end of our boat trip, we'll return to the original departure point.

How many animals will we see?

Please remember that the whales, porpoises, dolphins and other creatures that we'll be searching for on this tour are wild animals and are therefore unpredictable. The number of species that we see will depend on various factors like sea currents, wind and weather conditions on the day of the activity.
