Ísafjörður Kayak & Westfjords Bike Tour
At 9:30 am we'll meet at Mávagarður, where we'll get ready for the first activity of the morning, a kayak tour in the bay of Isafjordur.
Before taking the kayaks, we'll walk to the shore of Neðstikaupstaður, where we'll teach you how to handle the boats. Then we'll start paddling and enjoy the waters of the Westfjords. During the kayak tour, we'll see the many species of birds and seals that inhabit this area.
After approximately two hours of activity, we'll return to the base of Mávagarður, where you'll have an hour of free time to recharge your batteries. Then we'll start a fun bike tour. We'll put on our helmets and hop on our bikes to head into the rugged mountains of the Westfjords of Iceland.
We'll cycle through slopes, trails and valleys while seeing the great natural attractions of the Westfjords, such as the Tungudalur Forest or the Buná River and its mighty waterfall.
After three hours of cycling, we'll finish the cycling tour and return to the starting point at 4:30 pm.
