Enjoy an unforgettable experience during your stay in Reykjavik with this South Iceland Paragliding Flight. You'll get a bird's eye view of the waterfalls, glaciers and volcanoes of this part of the country.
South Iceland Paragliding Flight
At 9 am we'll pick you up from your hotel in Reykjavík and drive to the Skógafoss waterfall. Are you ready to enjoy the beautiful Icelandic nature?
Once there, you'll have about 40 minutes of free time to enjoy this marvel and admire the rainbows that form in this impressive 60 metre high waterfall. We'll return to the minibus and continue the excursion to a higher area to enjoy the paragliding activity. During the trip you'll be able to see the Eyjafjallajökull volcano and the Sólheimajökull glacier - you'll love the view!
Upon arrival, we'll put on all the necessary equipment and, accompanied by a specialised instructor, adjust the helmet, harnesses and the rest of the equipment. Then we'll get into the paraglider to start flying over the south of Iceland.
You'll be able to enjoy a bird's eye view of symbolic locations such as the Reynisfjara black beach and the Skógafoss waterfall. If you're lucky and the day is clear, you'll have the opportunity to see the famous Hekla Volcano and Eyjafjallajökull glacier.
After a two-hour flight and back on the ground, you'll receive a diploma and a souvenir video to show off your feat to your family and friends.
We'll return to the minibus to go back to the starting point. Before we get there, we'll stop at the Seljalandsfoss waterfall - did you know it houses a hidden cave? The tour will end by returning to your hotel in Reykjavík at approximately 7 pm.
When you make your booking you'll see a list of most of the hotels in Reykjavík. Next to the name of your hotel, you'll see the nearest meeting point. As most of the streets in the centre aren't accessible by bus, you'll have to go to a nearby location, which will be indicated as "Bus stop" and a number.
