WONDERFUL!! Although it indicates that it is in English, they give you a tablet to choose your language with all the explanations! They put the time on a poster etc. The best excursion I have done of all my trips. You see a lot of places with enough time! Wonderful guide and driver! I'm leaving the island happy thanks to this excursion. IT WILL NOT DISAPPOINT YOU! (Bring headphones for the tablet) It is worth the money paid, not like others .. THANK YOU FOR THIS GREAT DAY!

Waterfalls & South Coast of Iceland Tour

After picking you up from your selected meeting point in Reykjavik at 9 am, we'll leave the city behind to tour the south coast of Iceland. During the journey we'll admire the lava fields at the foot of Hengill Mountain. On clear days, we may even see the Hekla and Eyjafjallajökull volcanoes, as well as the Vestmannaeyjar archipelago.

We'll make our first stop at Reynisfjara, a black sand beach famous for the Reynisdrangar, the basalt stacks that rise dramatically from the sea. We'll explore this unique beach filled with black stones as you listen to the legend about the wicked trolls who wanted to smash a boat against the rocks...

Having admired the breathtaking coastal scenery, we'll head to the village of Vík, where you'll have around 30 minutes of free time to get lunch. Did you know that this is the southernmost town in Iceland?

Continuing on our tour, we'll visit the Skógafoss waterfall, where the river 60 metres above creates a spectacular sheet of water. Here you can marvel at the spectacle, and take photos of the rainbows that often appear, created by the sunlight through the falling water droplets.

We'll then make our way to the Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Here we'll climb the mountain until we reach the cave behind the falls. Entering the cave, we'll enjoy the unique view of the beautiful Icelandic landscape through the curtain of water.

At the end of a full day discovering the waterfalls and southern coast of Iceland, we'll return to the original departure points in Reykjavik, arriving back around 7:30 pm.

Meeting points

When making your reservation you'll see a list including the majority of the hotels in Reykjavik. Next to the name of your hotel, you will find the nearest meeting point. As the majority of the streets in the centre are not accessible by bus, you will need to make your way to a nearby location, indicated as a bus stop with a number.
