Hemos visitado una cueva que había sido descubierta recientemente, no hemos tenido que caminar apenas, ya que la localización de esta estaba al lado del parking, era la mas grande que habían visto hasta ahora y hemos estado casi una hora dentro. Esperabamos hacer un trekking de 2 km por el glaciar, tal y como se explicaba en la descripción de la excursion, y lo que hemos hecho son 500m de ascender por un terreno de piedras hasta la cueva. Además, había tanta gente que teníamos que movernos por turnos y no hemos podido verlo todo

RESUMEN ACTIVIDAD: Aparcas el coche en el parking de la ubicacion (1000 ISK adicionales). Puedes hacerte fotos en minis icebergs que estan donde el parking. A continuación os subireis a un coche al estilo monstertruck que hara un recorrido de una media hora. Os dan los camprons (para andar por encima del hielo). Me esperaba más. Habíamos leído que hacías un trekking por el glaciar de unos 2km y luego visitabas la cueva de hielo azul, y sinceramente creo que apenas hemos caminado 200m. Así como indicaba que la actividad duraba 3h y han sido como 2:20h y en ella están incluidos los 30min de ida y 30 de vuelta. Sin embargo, el guía nos ha parecido bueno y muy colaborativo haciéndonos fotos. Para el precio que cuesta y la actividad a realizar, no lo recomendaría.

I expected more. We had read that you trekked along the glacier for about 2km and then visited the blue ice cave, and I honestly think we barely walked 200m. Just as it indicated that the activity lasted 3 hours and it was about 2:20 hours and it includes the 30 minutes going and 30 minutes returning. However, we found the guide to be good and very collaborative in taking photos. For the price it costs and the activity to be done, I would not recommend it.

La excursión fue espectacular, caminar por el glaciar y el interior de la cueva, con esos colores, fue mucho mejor de lo que esperábamos. El día estaba cerrado de niebla y llovía pero aun así fue increible. Pero lo mejor sin duda fue el guía, Oli el Vikingo, muy majo, nos contó como se formaban los glaciares, la cueva...y lo mejor de todo es que por un despiste nos quedamos encayados con nuestro coche y no dudo en ningún momento en echarnos una mano y sacarnos del problema. The day was closed with fog and it was raining but it was still incredible. But the best thing was undoubtedly the guide, Oli the Viking, very nice, he told us how the glaciers were formed, the cave... and the best of all is that due to an oversight we got stuck with our car and I don't doubt in any time to lend us a hand and get us out of trouble. El tour estuvo bien, sin más. El guía excelente pero la sensación de estar mas tiempo en el trayecto de ida que en la propia cueva… es lo que no nos ha convencido. Veo precio elevado con respecto a otros tours y los 45 minutos no los calculamos pero nuestra sensación fue de 25 minutos máximo en la misma cueva dividida en varias zonas. Recomendaría mirar otras opciones.

The tour was fine, nothing more. The excellent guide but the feeling of spending more time on the outward journey than in the cave itself... is what has not convinced us. I see a high price compared to other tours and we did not calculate the 45 minutes but our feeling was 25 minutes maximum in the same cave divided into several areas. I would recommend looking at other options.

La actividad te mete en una cueva de hielo pero no en el glaciar, te meten en un agujero en la roca y por dentro es todo hielo, pero esta todo oscuro en su mayoría. La actividad dentro de la cueva a durado 45min y era curioso ver las paredes y techos de hielo, pero esta lejos de lo que nos esperabamos. El guía muy amable.

La actividad no se ajusta a la descripcion. No hemos hecho 2km de trekking y ni si quiera hemos llegado al glaciar. Hemos ido en jeep, en unas condiciones de seguridad nada deseables, sin podernos poner el cinturón porque íbamos sobre ocupados. En la descripción dice que hay que llevar botas de montaña para poder llevar crampones y que se nos facilitarà material de trekking, no se nos ha facilitado nada. Además el guia nos ha dicho que no podíamos hacer toda la excursión por dentro de la Cu

The activity didn't match the description. We didn't even trek 2 km and didn't even reach the glacier. We went by jeep, in unsafe conditions, and couldn't put on our seatbelts because we were so full. The description says we must wear hiking boots to carry crampons and that we would be provided with trekking equipment. None were provided. Furthermore, the guide told us we couldn't do the entire excursion inside the glacier.

El día y la actividad ha ido bien, el guía muy bien, lo único es que la foto y la descripción de la actividad no corresponde a la realidad. Habla de un glaciar y de ir con crampones y en ningún momento han hecho falta ya que el terreno es de tierra.
