Discover one of the most spectacular and least known places in Iceland with this Mount Hognhofdi Hike. If you're a nature lover this activity will be perfect for you.
Mount Hognhofdi Hike
At 8 am we'll meet by the Harpa building in Reykjavik and board a minibus to take you to the base of Mount Hognhofdi.
On arrival, we'll receive a brief explanation about the trekking route for that day. Then once the introduction is over, we'll start walking towards the top of the mountain. Are you ready?
We'll spend approximately 6 hours walking through the wildlands of southern Iceland. Depending on the time of year you carry out the activity, the landscape will vary drastically, but whether there is snow or not, you'll be captivated.
When we reach our goal, we'll make a stop so that you can eat the food you have brought with you and replenish your strength. Then we'll take a last look at the impressive views from Mount Hognhofdi and start the descent to the starting point.
The tour will end taking you back to the meeting point in Reykjavík, arriving at approximately 3 pm.
