No vimos las auroras. Sabemos que es un fenómeno meteorológico, pero hay diferentes webs de predicción y ese día las posibilidades eran de un 5%. Salimos a las 21 y fuimos solo a 2 localizaciones devolviéndonos al hotel a las 21:45 . La guia era holandesa y no sabía español; a mi no me importó pero había otras personas que no entendían el inglés. Mi hijo fue a las Lofoten y lo llevaron casi hasta Suecia regresando a las 3. Creo que en estos casos se debería cancelar la actvidad y reembolsar.

We didn't see the auroras. We know it's a meteorological phenomenon, but there are various prediction websites, and that day the chances were 5%. We left at 9:00 PM and visited only two locations, returning to the hotel at 9:45 PM. Si bien la noche estaba nula, nos trasladaron a un entorno despejado y sin nubes. Tras un par de horas de espera, a punto de marcharnos empezó este maravilloso espectáculo, visible claramente , solo, mediante cámara fotográfica. Las tablet para el audioguia no funcionan, una pena para los q no hablamos inglés, deberían sustituir las tablet o no ofrecer audioguia.

Recomiendo esta excursión A-L-T-A-M-E-N-T-E. Pero ver auroras es una LOTERIA y no es culpa del guia o la compañia no verlas. Para ello, deben cumplirse 3 factores: oscuridad, actividad solar y cielo despejado. Y ojo, las fotos que saques con el movil no seran tan espectaculares como las que hay en internet. En nuestro caso, Hulda (guia y fotografa de NatGeo) nos explico como mejorar la calidad de las fotos y nos saco unas con su camara profesional. Una autentica pasada. Fuimos muy afortunados.

En general estuvo muy bien, fuimos a dos localizaciones desde donde se podían fotografíar auroras, que a simple vista no se veían, es increíble como la guía podía verlas, muy bien por ella. Me faltó la audio guía, ya que en realidad, te dan una tablet con un texto para leer, que contiene videos, pero que no puedes escuchar, ya que no se puede subir el volumen en la tablet. También esperaba que me explicarán como ver las auroras a simple vista. Por eso le doy un bien, en vez de un excelente.

Esta muy bien organizado, te recogen en tu propio hotel y te dejan en el, pero nos dijeron que podíamos estar allí hasta las 00:00 viendo auroras y media hora antes ya nos dijeron que nos teníamos que ir.
