Ha sido muy entretenido y respetuoso ya que no se acercan y son ellas las que sienten interés. Lo que no me gustó es la vuelta que dimos para el puerto, estuvimos una hora viendo la costa...para mi innecesario ya que no se ve nada (al menos en invierno, es posible que en otras épocas del año se avisten aves)

It has been very entertaining and respectful since they do not approach and they are the ones who feel interested. What I didn't like is the return we took to the port, we spent an hour looking at the coast... unnecessary for me since I can't see anything (at least in winter, it is possible that at other times of the year birds can be seen)

Esta actividad al igual que la de la aurora boreal, es difícil de valorar, va a depender de si las has visto o no. En mi caso pude ver las auroras al tercer intento pero no pudimos ver las ballenas, tan solo unos delfines. En ambos casos (auroras y ballenas) te dan dos años para verlas sin pagar nada. Lo que hay que hacer es realizar estas excursiones al principio de las vacaciones ya que así tendrás mas días para volver a apuntarte y poder verlas. También pueden cancelarse por mal tiempo. Teníamos la reserva a las 9h. Se indica que hay que estar media hora antes en el punto acordado. Llegamos 50 minutos antes, y a las 8:57h no había pasado nadie a por nosotras. Llamamos a la compañía y nos dijeron que la agencia que tenía que recogernos era otra, la cual no figuraba en el email de confirmación. Así que perdimos esa hora y nos dieron para la siguiente, las 13h. Fuimos pero no pudimos ver ninguna ballena, ni en días posteriores por cancelación.

Gracias por habernos puesto al corriente de lo sucedido. Nuestro equipo de Atención al cliente ya está realizando seguimiento de vuestro caso particular.

No vimos ballenas,hacia muy mala mar y llovía muchísimo,creo que se debería haber suspendido la actividad.Dan la opción de volver otro día en los próximos 2 años,de forma gratuita..pero quien va a volver a Islandia antes de dos años??

No especificaba correctamente en el ticket qué compañía tenía que recogernos, y tuvimos una confusión. Sería recomendable es especificar esto en la reserva. El viaje agradable y correcto pero la guía en inglés hablaba para angloparlantes. Desgraciadamente los de otras nacionalidades tuvimos problemas para entenderla por la poca vocalización y el tono bajo.

Gracias por tu comentario. Al realizar la reserva damos un listado de la mayoría de los hoteles de Reikiavik. Junto al nombre del hotel seleccionado veréis indicado el punto de encuentro más cercano. Por otro lado, nos alegra saber que le viaje fuera de tu agrado a pesar de que el inglés de la guía no estuviera a la altura de tus expectativas.
